Join Us!
In order to make this dream a reality I am looking for a group of people to join my team. It is clear that riders who win medals at the Olympic level have an incredibly supportive team of owners sharing in their journey. There are three parts of a successful eventing team; the rider, the owner, and the horse. The horse is always number one, and the rest of the team is dedicated to providing the best possible care and training. The first person to join Strader Event Team is Mr. Mike Freeny who has owned multiple sales horses including the lovely Country Ranger and Troisade. He is also the original owner of Erin's Wild Mission. Live and Learn, owned by me, is without an owner and therefore missing a crucial part of a strong team. Joining our team at the early stages means that you will get to experience the thrill of the journey from start to finish and the end result will be that much more gratifying. Being the owner of a US team horse makes you part of the Olympic team! The U.S. Team is cognizant of the factthat good owners are an essential part of the success of any horse and rider partnership. Owners are very much involved in the Olympic experience and gain recognition for their vital position. Not only will you be an integral part of the everyday journey, but you will also be along for the ride towards something most people only dream about!
How to Get Involved
Erin is approved by the American Horse Trials Foundation and thus all donations can be made through this non-profit organization. The American Horse Trials Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to assist Three Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition. Eventing is one of three Olympic Equestrian sports, with its origins in cavalry training - combining the very diverse disciplines of dressage, cross-country riding and show jumping. The American Horse Trials Foundation has been granted tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. Donations should be directed to either the Southern California Equestrian Sports or the American Horse Trials Foundation, Inc.
