In order to make this dream a reality I am looking for a group of people to join my team. It is clear that riders who win medals at the Olympic level have an incredibly supportive team of owners sharing in their journey. There are three parts of a successful eventing team; the rider, the owner, and the horse. The horse is always number one, and the rest of the team is dedicated to providing the best possible care and training. The first person to join Strader Event Team is Mr. Mike Freeny who has owned multiple sales horses including the lovely Country Ranger and Troisade. He is also the original owner of Erin's Wild Mission. Live and Learn, owned by me, is without an owner and therefore missing a crucial part of a strong team. Joining our team at the early stages means that you will get to experience the thrill of the journey from start to finish and the end result will be that much more gratifying. Being the owner of a US team horse makes you part of the Olympic team! The U.S. Team is cognizant of the factthat good owners are an essential part of the success of any horse and rider partnership. Owners are very much involved in the Olympic experience and gain recognition for their vital position. Not only will you be an integral part of the everyday journey, but you will also be along for the ride towards something most people only dream about!
Being a part of the team will not only help offset costs of everyday expenditures but will allow for the horse to successfully train and compete at the highest levels of the sport. The request for ownership for Live and Learnis extremely important, however a contribution on any level is welcomed. Strader Event Team is extremely appreciative of any assistance, no matter what size, to help us reach these monumental goals!
